Here are some books that have helped me enhance my teaching:

This book has helped me to set up my literacy centers.  Students in my room currently Read to Self, Listen to Reading, and do Letter Work.  It's more like a Daily 3 for me then a Daily 5, but that's partly due to the half day time constraints.

Most books you read front to back and that's it.  This book is helpful because you can refer to it monthly.  If you like the philosophy of Four Blocks this is a nice companion to it.

This book was very helpful at the beginning of the year.  It gave a five day format for making predictable charts into class books.

This book is valuable for anyone teaching K-2.  I have used it every year as a large component of my Language Arts Program.
